My name is Chris Logsdon, aka chjolo ("chuh - jo - low"). I'm a music/audio producer, composer, instrumentalist, and DJ.
I've been making music in many forms since 2000, primarily using guitar, bass guitar, drums, and keys. I have experience in many genres of music, though I find the most inspiration in Jazz and the many forms of underground/niche electronic music.
I started composing music and audio in 2011 when I began my college career of game programming. I composed for all of my projects, and many of my classmates' projects. My first commercial game credit is for is an atmospheric puzzler called Iridescence.
In 2014, I discovered DJ Cutman and was intensely inspired by his projects This Week in Chiptune (TWiC) and GameChops. I decided to take a break from composing to focus on original/remix music production and DJing. This is when I started "chjolo". Since then, I have released and premiered music on TWiC and GameChops, as well as labels like Tiny Waves. I have also DJed many events all along the east coast, including PAX East and MAGFest.
Now, after spending a few years as a full time software/web developer by day, I have decided to work my way back into the world of music and audio composition!
